Amplify The Cinema

The Film World Needs to Try Becca

We're not just a joke idea that's gone a bit too far to be a joke but too far to give up, we're also a film festival, a documentary about a film festival, a top secret bad film we're releasing into film festivals around the world, and hopefully the start of some wider shift where we help encourage people to get back to DIY hobbies and low budget filmmaking and less algorithm chasing and more doing the thing you've been talking about doing since, like, the pandemic, and that was, what? Five years ago? And you're still talking about doing something that you could do in a month if you put your mind to it? And we've released an entire film festival/documentary/film/event hybrid in about three days (not really)? We like this idea, we hope you like this idea, and we'd like to humbly ask would you kindly help spread the word any way you can, or just show up when the event happens even.

All press is good press.

Follow us or make reddit posts about us or share all our videos we promise we're going to make any day now and they're so funny guys and we'll not use any trends because we're old and old people using trends will kill the trends. You're welcome.

Make your own, wait for us to make our own, tell that weirdly talented artist friend about it and get surprised by the surge of energy until you have to say "Whoa, they're not paying you and they're not your friends. Maybe cool it a little.

We will do any interview or podcast or social media event with anyone who doesn't have or look like they have a list of allegations waiting to appear any moment now. We're not friends with bad people. It's an easy run to live by. And yet.

100% Beccas

I think this makes the whole thing pass the Bechdel test, actually, on about five levels. So we've got that going for us.
